October 2026 Events

Are you looking to make extra gil? Do you like gameshows? Come on out to this weekly Free Company event where you can test your luck in gameshow-style treasure dungeons and earn a little extra coin!

Test your luck in the weekly Free Company Lottery! This Lottery has a guaranteed winner every week and all tickets purchased are added to the total prize money!

Unlike our normal Lottery, the Powerball does not have a guaranteed winner! Instead, the prize pool will grow week after week until a winner is determined!

Introducing "WHAT!? Wednesdays" a returning Free Company weekly Unreal Trial event renamed! Why this name?  “WHAT!? How did I die?!” “WHAT!? We wiped again?!”  “WHAT!? We actually cleared?!” Each week will alternate from a "Learning Party" to "Farm Party" so all types of players (new and seasoned) can join.

This F.C. event has us going into the depths of treasure dungeons from expansions *before* the current one. If there is loot to be found in the depths of these dungeons, test your luck and join up!

FATEs are an excellent way to level, and even more fun when you're doing them with friends! Koko Moko hosts FATE Friday every Friday, so come on out and have fun together!

Many veteran players of our Free Company have devoted themselves to be teachers of various content to help other members learn or pick up a new job. Classes are offered on a rotation with one or two classes happening every Saturday at various times.

**NOTE: Classes are out of session until Evercold due to battle job overhauls. If you want a private lesson until then, please reach out to any officer and they will get you in touch with a teacher.**

Are you looking for help getting a specific mount? Come on out to this weekly event hosted by the one and only Fyn Amour! Which mount that gets farmed will depend on F.C. votes by Fyn!

Join friends for leveling, relic grinds, and other related zone rewards! Each week we will rotate through various Field Operations zones, and when pertinent, run Delubrum Reginae and offer assistance planning for and/or completing the Baldesion Arsenal.

Come join the fun as we venture through a haunted house with an amazing cast of folks and a scavenger hunt if you choose!

Are you ready for spooky season? Come on out and watch some scary movies in preparation for the Halloween Party!

Let’s hit the road together and see what it brings us. Come join Kilali for this casual and social event. Themes change monthly.

Each year our members decorate their Free Company Estate Rooms for the spooky season. This year we want to see your best, scary creations! You can decorate your room just for fun, OR you can submit your room into one of two annual Halloween events:

- Room Decorating Contest

- Haunted Halloween Tour

Deadline to submit your room for the contest: October 31, 2026

Deadline to submit your room for the tour: October 15, 2026

To enter, send a DM to Istari Tharkun with your room number.

Every October, The Black Waltz throws its annual Halloween party, and this time we're checking in at the Overlook Hotel from The Shining. Your reservation is confirmed. Come in costume and join us for a haunted night at the hotel!

Come relax and hang out with your fellow Waltz members as we discuss random topics! Since it's Spooky Season again, let's talk about what some of your favorite Halloween costumes have been, if you have any Halloween traditions and what your favorite candy is.
