Waltz Horror Posters

It's that time of year where all things spooky come out to play! 

If you're a fan of the horror genre and you have a creative touch, then this is the event for you! This poster contest will be for participants to either recreate or put a twist on an existing real-world horror media - be it a scene within the media, the poster for a horror movie, or a horror book cover!

Acceptable forms of Horror Media that can be recreated:

1. Scene from a horror movie, game, or book; 
2. Cover from a horror book or horror video game; or,
3. The poster for a horror movie.

Entries can be submitted in the Discord "Horror Poster" channel until the deadline listed below. Once submissions close, all posters will be put up on our website for the Free Company to vote on their top THREE favourite posters. The winner(s) will be determined by whichever poster has the most votes.

Submissions will start Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 with deadline of Thursday, October 31st, 2023 11:59 pm EST. Voting will open on November 1, 2024.

POSTER SUBMISSION PRIZES: 

All submissions will get 1 mana point!

1st place: 3,000,000 gil

2nd place: 1,500,000 gil

3rd place: 500,000 gil

All Submissions: 100,000 gil

Rules: 

1. You can use Canva, Photoshop, MS paint - whatever you like to create the poster! 
2. The base of the poster should be of an in-game Gpose, but can include clipart-esque images and text. Your poster can be just an image or a GIF. 
3. Theme is anything based on a horror movie, game, or book!
