The Floor is LAVA! (Patch 2.0)

Do you like jump puzzles? Can you navigate tight corners when jumping from platform to platform? Is one of your darkest fears falling into a pit of lava? This is the event for you!

OBJECTIVES 

1. HAVE FUN!
2. Navigate the obstacle course from the starting point in the estate basement (GREEN platform) to reach the finish point (RED platform) on the uppermost floor with the fastest time while following all rules.  

GROUPS 

Participants will be grouped together in groups of 6 and will be "racing" against each other for the fastest time from start to finish. The two individuals with the fastest time will proceed to the next round in a tournament-style system. The winning participants from each set will advance to the next round and be paired with another pair of winning members to repeat the course. This process will repeat until we have 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place final winners!  

RULES:  

1. Each participant must start on the GREEN platform in the basement;
2. Participants may not use the natural floors or stairs of the estate to progress through the obstacle course. Only placed furnishing objects are allowed to be used during navigation through the course. If a participant falls off one of the placed furnishing items and touches the floor/stairs during the event, they must return to the starting platform in the basement OR one of the achieved checkpoints listed in the next section. Basically, you will be jumping from one object to the next to progress through the course;
3. There are two PINK checkpoints throughout the course: one on the main floor of the estate, and the other on the uppermost floor of the estate. Once a participant successfully lands on one of these checkpoints, they can return to this point if they end up falling off the course instead of the starting point in the basement;
4. There will be referees throughout the course. If a participant is seen having touched the floor by a referee, they will be notified and will need to return to the nearest achieved PINK platform to resume. Referee screens will overrule participant screens in the event of a latency disagreement;
5. Any conceivable route through the course is accepted, as long as the participant does not touch the floor or stairs; 
6. No class abilities are permitted during the course; and,
7. The final round will introduce a SURPRISE rule that will increase the difficulty of the course.  

PRIZES 

• 1st Place: 2,500,000 Gil; 
• 2nd Place: 1,500,000 Gil;
• 3rd Place 500,000 Gil;
• All other participants: 100,000 Gil; and, 
• Bonus Prizes announced at the end of the Event for specific categories (categories will be announced at the end of the event).
