Chronicles of an adventurer

During a recent treasure hunt, we discovered the long, lost journal of an adventurer detailing his/her journey across Eorzea! It is said that those who succeed in following the adventurer's journey and revisiting the locations outlined in the journal will be bestowed wealth.

And so, we challenge our Free Company to revisit the locations in the journal! It won't be easy, though, since this adventurer's journal is written in only descriptions and/or riddles - it is up to you, dear Free Company, to decipher the entries and submit a screenshot (or location + map coordinates) with the location!

Example:

"From atop the snowy peaks, I stand,

Watching over Coerthan land.

Silent sentinel, I gaze below,

Where city lights in the snow aglow.

From this peak where snowflakes dance,

I watch over the city's expanse.

With Downy Aevis, distant, but near,

I stand vigilant, without fear."

HOW WILL IT WORK?

On Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 9:00PM EST, the adventurer's journal will be posted in our F.C. Discord under a newly created channel "Chronicles." At 12:00AM EST, the journal will be closed. The winners of this event will be determined by who submits all correct locations the fastest, OR who has the most correct when the journal is closed at 12:00AM EST. 

Screenshots OR map coordinates may be submitted. If you are submitting map coordinates in lieu of a picture, please ensure you also list the zone the coordinates are from. Locations can be submitted to Istari via DM in Discord, or /tell in game, whichever is easiest!

Riddles will get increasingly difficult - this event must be completed solo with no help from friends; teams are not allowed for this event.
