Each week we will be teaching a difficult fight to members who want to learn. These duties can include Extreme Trials from any expansion and the content will change week to week.
Free Company Discord
We are attempting to bring back an old Free Company event called "Sync-it Sunday" where we get together and do content (specifically alliance raids) synced down to the minimum item level required to enter the duty. The raids will change weekly.
Since many players will not have experienced some of the mechanics in these raids, it's important to not spoil them during the Sync-it Sunday event!

Ocean Fishing has never been easier and more fun than when you do it with Free Company members! This event will happen weekly in September and will allow our community to fish... together!
Limsa Lominsa Ocean Fishing Boat
Savage Raids are difficult duties that are being released with every patch. When a raid tier begins, four of the encounters are relatively easy and provide the story for the raid content; however, for those wanting more of a challenge, a "Savage" version of these fights are also created. "Savage Sundays" are learning parties for some of the current savage content.

Looking for something chill and relaxing but still want to hang out with your friends in the Free Company? Waltz' movie night is the perfect opportunity to hang out and just watch a movie together! Grab some popcorn and a beverage and relax! A poll will be conducted in Discord during the week prior for everyone to vote on which movie they want to see. The movie will then be streamed in our Free Company Discord for anyone to tune in!

Are you good at decorating? Are you a fan of horror movies and scary stories? This is the perfect Free Company Event for you! We want to see your scariest room and we will be featuring it as part of our Haunted Room Tour during our Halloween Party (with your permission of course)!
Deadline for Submission:
Thursday, October 28th, 2021
Our annual Halloween Party returns - and this time we want it to be bigger and better than ever! We have invited the sought-after Songbirds to be at our party and the event will feature tons of mini games and raffles. But most importantly - it's a chance for the server to come together and be social!
Waltz University is closed for the season and will return in January 2022. With all the game changes in Endwalker, teachers will need some time to re-learn their job rotations.

October marks the official start to all things Halloween! We are bringing back our Free Company room decorating contest - this time with a scary/spooky theme! We are looking for our Free Company members to decorate their room with their interpretation of scary... this is completely relative to the person!
Are you thinking about designing a crime scene? Maybe a haunted house? Or maybe recreate a movie scene from a horror movie - the possibilities are endless and entirely up to you!
Disclaimer: There is a fund set aside in the Free Company to help new players purchase a room without taking from their own pockets. This gives all members a chance to participate! The cost to purchase a Free Company room is 300,000 gil, and to do so you must be a 2nd Lieutenant in your chosen Grand Company.
Furniture can be expensive, but don't fret... finding the materials to craft a furnishing item will saves thousands of gil! We have several members of the Free Company that are willing to help out - all you need to do is ask! There are also several NPCs throughout Eorzea (and the Free Company Estate) that sell furniture at very low costs.
Judges will be scoring each room based on three distinct categories:
Upon viewing all rooms, the judges' scores will be tallied and the designer with the highest amount of points will be declared the grand prize winner. Three categories, each worth 10 points, makes the total amount of points possible 30.
If you are interested in participating, please notify Waltz Leadership (Flare) and they will add your room to the judge's form.
One of the main features of our annual Halloween Fright Night party is a Haunted Room tour where our masterful tour guide will be telling scary stories about the various scary rooms. All rooms submitted for the room decorating contest will be automatically added to the Haunted Tour. If you do not want your room added to the tour, please notify Istari Xiomar. Additionally, if you want to write your own story for your room for the tour guide to tell, that is absolutely welcome!
Beginning on Sunday, May 3 and continuing every other Sunday from then on, we will be hosting a biweekly event where our Free Company Members can get to know each others' sense of humour and laugh with each other. During these events, the event coordinator will provide games from the "Jackbox Party Pack" series for participants to join and have fun. These games range from a variety of types including Trivia. This event started as an idea from one of our members, Jak! Now it is finally coming into fruition!
Note: We want you to be yourself! As such, some peoples' sense of humour may be more on the adult side, so we will be stamping this event with an 18+ disclaimer. However, if you are participating it should be noted dark humour / taboo subjects are not allowed in this event and the guidelines of Respect outlined in our Free Company Charter must be followed.
This event is meant to help get to know our community on a more humourous and fun level. To participate, you will need access to Discord (to view the game hosts' stream and participate), and an additional device with an internet browser available on it. A tablet, smartphone, computer, or PS4 browser all work for this!
How does it work?
After a game is chosen, the Game Host will Stream the game from their computer. Participants will then view the stream, and, using the website and code provided by the game, they will access their internet browsers and connect to the game. Whichever devices' browser is used to connect to the game will become the participant's buzzer / answer input device / score sheet.
Rules for each game are broadcast during the beginning of each game. Bringing wine, alcohol, or snacks is encourage! Please be ready to laugh!
